Feeling all those good vibes today🥰🌻🌈 Quarantine feels have ebbs and flows and I’m just learning how to ride the waves. I’m currently sitting outside working with a soft breeze and fresh air. It 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 little 👏🏻 things 👏🏻 people.

Driving my car feels like a luxury these days. Getting in the car and just taking a drive is such an escape. A weird feeling to have in LA especially when the freeway is basically empty at rush hour. But man, there is nothing like a drive with the windows down and music playing with a nice view. Finding joy in everything these days. Here’s a picture of me. So excited to be picking up trash on the beach with @elise_scanlan and @healthebay - obviously a throwback. But it wasn’t that long ago.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve noticed trash in nature and haven’t been able to leave it there like I never saw it. So this Saturday, when beaches were still open and friends could still be near, we cleaned the beach. A drop in the bucket but the bucket only gets filled one drop at a time.

Admittedly this Earth day is a weird one but in a good, unexpected way. It isn’t just this virus we all have in common but this planet. By us not abusing it for a mere few weeks, she has started to heal. And that’s nothing short of extraordinary.

Gratitude is one of the only things keeping me sane these days and man oh man am I grateful for this pale blue dot. It contains everyone and everything. The art and music and science and love and kindness. A lot of darkness too. But this planet holds it all and I am so grateful to it. When all of this is over, let’s think about being a little kinder to each other and to our home. Pick up a piece of trash or lift someone’s spirit. So happy Earth day, fellow Earth resident. So grateful to be here with you.🌎✌🏻
