• Face life face first.

Face life with confidence.

Face life with your girlfriends.

Face life with your girlfriends in a fake tub with fake bubbles. Because why not? 🛁💦
  • Had such a good time celebrating 25 years of DreamWorks bringing fun, imagination, diversity, and innovation to families everywhere.

To be a part of a company whose mission statement is more about the people than the product is truly an honor: "At DreamWorks Animation we believe that the animation we put into the marketplace is only as good as the talent within the company that creates it. We are committed to fostering a culture that embraces innovation, creativity, collaboration, and a solid dose of fun." This picture is so cool because it's recreating the logo but its meaning goes so much deeper. We are all a part of DreamWorks. Each of are just dreamers and I am so blessed to be a DreamWorker.

Cheers to 25, DreamWorks. You deserve it and I'm so excited to be a part of it🌙

Go to the DreamWorks website for the amazing celebratory video.
  • "Far better to live your own path imperfectly than to live another’s perfectly." - Bhagavad Gita

Let's face it, perfect is boring anyway 🙃
  • Stand in your l i g h t ✨

Do not be afraid to take up space.
Or to be too much.
Or not enough.

Expand. Fill. Occupy.

You deserve to be here. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to be respected and loved. You deserve to be whoever you want to be.

Other people's opinions, thoughts, judgements, and half thought out comments do. not. matter.

Don't waste your time on pleasing other people. Their opinion doesn't and shouldn't matter. If you live your life for other people, when will YOU be happy? People are fickle creatures and if you play the game according to other people's rules, you will lose. Every time. Because what you do for yourself, what you do for the people you love, how you are a positive impact on humanity. THAT is what matters.

Put out of your mind what other people COULD be thinking. Put your focus on where you want to go. Be bigger then the approval game, be better then the comparison race.

You are important. Special. And deserving. Once you realize that. Once you own that. Once you shut out others expectations and start moving forward for yourself. That's the difference, the impact that you will make.

Stand in your light. The world needs you to stand in it and then make more. ☀️

It has been six years of adventures, walks, camping trips, flights, road trips, moves, growing up, hard times and joyous ones. It's been six years of coming home to this smiling face and watching Broncos games together.

Scout turns six today and I always say that this is the anniversary of the day God outdid himself.

I didn't know how badly I needed Scout until he was in my life and my constant shadow. Scout and I moved 6 months after I got him. I became an adult with this dog. For about 6 months, he was my only friend in a big, new city.

I've picked him up to dance with me or to hug when I'm crying. We take naps together and protect each other.

If you're not a dog person, this could seem a little over the top. I know, I know, crazy dog lady.

But Scout has been my best friend for six years and he truly is the biggest blessing of my life.

I would say for his birthday, he gets whatever he wants but let's face it, how is that different from any other day?
  • Friendship is so weird. You pick out a random human you've never met and you're like, "This one, I wanna go on adventures with this one." @jmgrant2016 sent me the above quote yesterday. It's especially funny because I had to do some convincing for Jesse to cross the line between friendly coworkers to friends.

Now, she is one of the most important people in my life and we even survived (& enjoyed!) living in an RV together for a week with @gavin.grant, @meeko_the_whippet, and #thedognamedscout.

So the lesson learned here is friendships are weird but so worth it.

Happy Friday, friends!
