  • My dad is special because he's my buddy. He would work all day and come home to push me on the swing hanging on our tree in the front yard. He would spend his days off at horse competitions or attend every showing of plays I was in. He read The Little House on the Prairie series to me before bed. He painted my ceiling midnight blue so we could put glow and the dark stars up there. He taught me how to ride a bike. And how to drive a car. He gave me my taste in music. And he has always shown me what hard work looks like. These are only some of the big things and don't even come close to covering all of the small things. And even though all of these things are amazing, just knowing he was there and that he loved me. That was the most important and it still is. So Happy Father's day, Dad.
